"Hank Aaron"

(1954-1976)

(Outfielder)

Milwaukee Braves, Atlanta Braves, Milwaukee Brewers

Though Aaron began his career in the Negro Leagues, by 1954 he was a starting outfielder for the Milwaukee Braves. Spending most of his career in that city, he returned in 1975 and there became the all-time major league home run champ. Never having hit 50 home runs in a season, it is interesting to speculate how many MORE home runs Aaron would have hit in today's age of poor pitching and smaller ballparks.

Aaron's brother, Tommie Lee Aaron, also played major league ball with Milwaukee and Atlanta.
